Active/Suspected Nuclear Weapon Programs

Although these states are party to the NPT and have denied seeking nuclear weapons, their non-proliferation commitments are still considered suspect. Iran thought eight years from nuclear weapons, but could accelerate program if nuclear assets leak from former Soviet Union. Libya has extremely limited nuclear infrastructure.
