Obama is an inspiration to all Americans, and history will help to illuminate the lessons learned. His story and his words have inspired me to get involved in state level politics. I am running for the Oregon Senate in 2010. PAC: Comfort for Oregon

Most Americans see something in our new president. Some think of it has hope, others a chance for a new start. I like to think of it as the greatness that America lost hold of in the long dark years of the Bush presidency. The Obama administration, for so many, seems represent how we could be as a people - if we working together as Americans. President Obama offers the opportunity for us all to straddle the great divide that separates us each from our brothers, from our neighbors, from our fellow Americans. He offers us all a chance to change - for the good, to the benefit of all (and not a chosen few). His administration cares about the plight of the average, middle class American. A population long ignored. It’s about time someone started to concern themselves and direct their policies toward the shrinking middle class. He doesn’t have all the answers, our new president, but he provides for us a chance to hope, a chance to be the best versions of ourselves. Kind. Giving. Compassionate.

I believe that this clip speaks to an audience who sincerely believe that all men are created equal...that a man should not be looked upon and judged by the color of his skin but rather by the content of his heart...Fortunately President Obama is not alone in his desires for his people... which include all people. Thankfully, those desires have propelled him into a destiny for which his "dreams" are now being displayed on a grand platform for which this country and world has never seen in a political arena. It's unfortunate that so many in Congress don't share that dream.

As far as I am concerned, President Obama gives the appearance of impropriety from his office as Illinois Senator and lawyer. I have spent several years evaluating our system and have developed the solution of writing letters to my representatives about important issues that should be improved or developed. You may read my letter at the following link where I have published them: http://www.eons.com/groups/group/proseparty-members

I will let history judge President Obama; I do however enjoy seeing his early coverage as it provides some insight to him as a person more than media coverage does on any given subject (on any given day). Again, history will judge but this is a great video
