This excerpt from "Organ Farm" conveys the promises, risks and medical and public health challenges society confronts with pig-to-human transplants.

In 1999, at the age of 21, Amanda Davis suffered a massive stroke paralyzing her body's left side. She decided to become the fifth person to volunteer for an experimental clinical trial which involved injecting pig neural cells into her brain. This 14 minute videoclip tells her story.
