The VF-124 suite was known as "Fightertown" as it represented other fighter squadrons based at Naval Air Station, Mirimar, CA. and derived some of its funding from those squadrons.
"Belly" or "Navel Shots," the practice of drinking alcohol (typically tequila) out of people's navels occurred in the VF-124 suite.
In several accounts, a number of participants watched three male officers drink belly shots from the navel of a female officer. The same female officer later got her legs shaved by two male officers. The female officer herself reported that a few of the belly shot participants wore short skirts, no undergarments, and exposed themselves during the procedure.
Suite VF-124's "entertainment" included a disk jockey, pornographic movies, physical contact with strippers, and sadomasochistic and lesbian stripper performances.
