Dear FRONTLINE,
If you call the Palestinains' fight for their land terrorism, then I think you are absolutely wrong. And no Israel will never end on this action, because the people are oppressed, and they simbly will not comply with any Israel's laws.
The suicide bombings is shaking and destroying Israel.
Washington, DC
Dear FRONTLINE,
I doubt that either Israel's military can stop the terrorism or that the terrorism will help the Palestinians achieve their goals.
I think the Israeli's have been engaging in an experiment over the years. They have proven that they can absolutely keep terrorists off of airplanes but that they cannot protect the man or woman on the street. But unfortunately they have not learned their own lesson that they can't get rid of the terrorist by killing him but likewise they can't allow the terrorist to kill without repercussions.
On the other hand the Palestinians are letting their hatred for the Jews get in the way of understanding the rationale for all that Israel does. On must remember that Israel is the progeny of Holocaust survivors. Security is their biggest worry and they will never again allow people to freely kill Jews. And given the way that most of the world stood idley by as 6 million Jews were killed world opinion means very little. They do not want to kill all Palestinians they want peace and security.
Thus, the solution is for Martin Luther King's philosophy of non-violent civil disobedience to overtake the Middle East. One wonders if Thoreau's Civil Disobedience was ever translated into Arabic or Hebrew.

Dear FRONTLINE,
Violence begets violence and only adds fertilizer to the soil which grows suicide bombers and others who can find no other way to vent their frustration.
It is time for the peacemakers to take control of this intolerable situation which has been brewing for 35 years that I have been watching it. Israel is a friend but even friends can behave recklessly at times. It is time that the United States showed some impartiality and acted like a true Peacebroker who demonstrates fairness to both sides.
Right now Sharon has been too military oriented to be a man to make peace and Arafat too disempowered to control the radical forces that seem to now run amok.

Dear FRONTLINE,
The Israeli's do not want to return the occupied territories to Palestinian control because that would mean that would Israeli settlements would be under Palestinian jurisdiction. The Palestinian's do not want just the occupied territories but seem to want the destruction of Israel. In that context, there is no solution and the cycle of violence will have no end. Israel will not be destroyed and Israeli can not deport the entire Palestinian.
If Arafat is to remain relevant he has to stop being anti-Israel and be pro-state. The Israeli's have to let the settlements go. If that doesn't happen then the suicide bombers are the Palestinians best form of pusing forward their guerilla war. The Israeli's tanks and helicopters are their best response but neither will end in peace anytime soon a la El Salvador, Guatemala etc. etc..

Dear FRONTLINE,
Peace will never come in this fashion, that is for absolute sure. Israel will never give up their homeland, and enough Palestinians exist who will never accept anything but full return of "their land".
Israel is both peoples homelands. Jews were "Palestinians" before it was called Israel, and they have lived there since the beginning of recorded biblical history. Arab leaders of the earlier part of the past century, however, did not like the increasing immigration of Jews. A war broke out where the "Palestinians" tried to kick the Jews out, and the the "Palestinians" lost, though this does not make things right. What exists now, however, is a complete intollerance on the part of many Palestinians, though at this point I can empathize.
Though I feel very bad for the numerous innocent, tolerant, Palestinians who want and deserve peace and a home, the numerous intollerant and disrespectful militants are ruining every chance of a resolve. I think it is sick, completely intollerant, and disrespectful of God and humanity to glorify and carry out suicide bombings against innocent people. It is even sicker that these militant leaders teach and send their youth. God did not give us the gift and privilege of life to abuse in this way, and this will be the end of their world.

Dear FRONTLINE,
How could people bee that blind and they don't see what's going on in the middle east? By givung back land and giving them every thing shows the world that terrorist works. That's the wrong message we want to give the world. Could some-one give me an answer, Wat's a difference between the fight againts Al-Queda and the palestenians in Israel?

Dear FRONTLINE,
About 10 miles from where I live is a mass grave of around 150 Americans who tried to take my country in 1812. Who am I to say that the Palestinians cannot fight for theirs? Israel has every right to live in safety and security, but surely SO DO THE PALESTINIANS. The only people who profit from this violence are the ones selling weapons to both sides in the middle east: AMERICA- the largest exporter of death in the world. No wonder you do so little to stop the fighting. The dollar has no GOD.

Dear FRONTLINE,
I believe suicide bombings is the only militaristic machine the Palestinian people have to defend their right to live. It might sound wierd saying that they defend the right to live by blowing themselves up but when you are up against a country such as Israel that is fully backed by the US what other choice do these people have??
The only way Israel can defeat terrorism is to destroy themselves because they can and should also be classified as a country that has state sponsored terrorism. But the fact that the United States says its "ok" make the Terrorism from Israel "ok" and the Palestinians are singled out as the problem. I think the US needs to rethink their situation in the middle east and realize that as much as Iraq, Iran and N. Korea harbor terrorists; the US does the EXACT same thing by backing up the Terrorist state of Israel.

Dear FRONTLINE,
Killing innocent people will never achieve the Palestinian goals - The Israeli Military and their intelligence is superior and in my opinion non-random - there comes a time when one says ENOUGH - what makes Israel's retaliation against terrorism and what they are doing any different than what America is doing to defeat terrorism in Afghanastan - For every suicide bombing a threat should be issued against the suicide bombers family and then let us see how much they will value the lives of those that they also take responsibility in destroying.
