Dear FRONTLINE

This report exposes a lot of what goes on in the life of a teenager. Unfortunately, this behavoir is not limited to middle or upper class, or to big or little towns. This report reminded me a lot of the town I spent my teen years in, the town I learned hw to drink in, have sex in, and how to lose classmates due to drinking and driving and suicide in. I only wish that someone would have enough time and energy to try to talk to some of the teens and parents in my town, and try to knock a little bit of sense into at least a few. I don't just mean the teens, I mean the parents as well, because they just don't seem to care anymore what there children do or become in thier lives.

I feel like the young girls in this film had very low self esteem. I too was sexually active with different partners during my teenage years and now that I am married with a 13 month old daughter, I hope I can instill a little more restrain into my child. I regret that I did not save myself for my husband and I hope and pray every night that my daughter will have better judgment than I did. I wish all the young ladies luck in finding a decent mate after everyone finds out about there past!!!

Dear FRONTLINE

I am 17 and I don't have numerous sexual occurances. I'm not perfect but I realize when to draw the line I hopeI believe parents allow children to play all they want as long as the parents don't have to know what goes on. I believe parents wish for their children to get into trouble sometimes and they don't realize the consequences. Even after adulthood I think we all need supervision or at least somone to guide us. Children today are so much forgotten now that having no mentor just feels like a part of growing up.
