Voting for Gore
November 7, 2000

I'm on my way to polls now. Barring being struck by some divine revelation from above, Gore gets the nod. Neither candidate is right on all the issues that matter to me and Bush actually has more of my thinking regarding family values and responsibility, but his plans disregard so many of the disenfranchised. Hopefully, we'll eventually live a nation where those at the bottom are solely responsible for their lots in life, but until that time, I can't support those who profit with disregard. Most Americans do or will need help that can only be mandated from the federal government.
