Dear FRONTLINE,

perhaps you could help your next president buildup some of americas lost credibility outside of its borders by mentioning your allies who are fighting along side in this NATO mission?

Dear FRONTLINE,

What's befuddled me from the outset of our Afghanistan venture is that the US made no effort to distinguish between Taliban & Al Quaeda. It may not have been possible--but did we even try.

All I recall is Bush's wrongheaded, fatal declaration:"for us or against us...no middle ground."

I'd like to think that the next Admnistration will have the strength & intelligence to back down...focus on Bin Laden et al & relegitimize the Taliban...ask the Russians about the alternative.

Dear FRONTLINE,

The number and magnitude of debacles committed by the Bush administration is quite amazing. In Iraq, they engaged the U.S. in a quagmire war which has in essence, turned into a quagmire occupation. In Afghanistan, the same thing has happened by what looks like, a much smaller scale, but in reality, is even more destructive to the world as a whole.

This is what happens when a nation uses the excuse of "Terrorism" to try and dominate regions that it has no legitimate reason to be involved with. Bush isn't just the worst U.S. President, he is one of the worst leaders the world has ever seen. The next president will be smart and well informed to get out of both Iraq and Afghanistan. There is nothing that can be changed there, and nothing good that can be accomplished from this point forward.
