Graphs: U.S. Health Stats Compared to Other Countries

These charts draw upon data from a 2007 report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which collects economic statistics on its 30 member countries. Taiwan, one of the five countries featured in FRONTLINE's report, is not included because neither the OECD nor the U.N.-based World Health Organization (WHO) track statistics for the island nation. Click on the tabs below to view the corresponding chart.

  • gdp
  • life expectancy
  • infant mortality
  • number of mri units
  • number of ct scanners
