School Choice Report Cards for the States

The Center for Education Reform, a self-described "results-oriented advocacy group, which is independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit," has produced the latest in its series of evaluations for charter school laws around the nation. The resulting "report cards"--on which Arizona gets an "A" and Mississippi gets an "F", for example--are based on as objective a set of measures as is possible, CER claims, while still recognizing that "beauty can still be in the eye of the beholder."
