Linda Ellerbee

For the past 25 years Linda Ellerbee has earned a reputation as a highly respected and outspoken journalist. Her success as a network news correspondent, anchor, writer, and producer led her to establish Lucky Duck Productions, which produces award-winning news programs for children. Lucky Duck has also produced a variety of specials for television, including programs on breast cancer (ABC), unsafe sexual practices (MTV), and addiction (HBO). During her 12 years as a network correspondent, Ellerbee covered national politics and wrote for and anchored NBC News Overnight. Her book about television, And So It Goes, stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for 18 weeks. Her second book, Move On is about surviving the rest of the 20th Century with your sense of humor intact.

Mike Wallace

CBS News correspondent Mike Wallace has been co-editor of 60 Minutes since its premiere on September 24, 1968 on the CBS television network. The 1995-96 season marks his 28th on the broadcast. His no-hold-barred interviewing techniques and enterprising reporting are well known and his timely interviews read like a "who's who" of newsmakers, including: Bill Clinton, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy and Rosslyn Carter, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, John F. Kennedy, Deng Xiaoping, Menachem Begin, Yasir Arafat, Kurt Waldheim, Johnny Carson, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and Leonard Bernstein. Wallace's experience as a newsman dates back to the 1940's when he was a radio newswriter and broadcaster for the Chicago Sun. His professional honors include 15 Emmy Awards and three George Foster Peabody Awards, to name a very few. He was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1991.

Faith Daniels

Millions of viewers know Faith Daniels from her role in anchoring some of America's most popular news and talk-show programming. Daniels began her national news career when she joined CBS News as the anchor of the CBS Morning News. At age 27, she was one of the youngest national news anchors ever. She joined NBC in 1990 as the news anchor for Today and anchor of News at Sunrise. In 1991 she became the firt journalist to host her own national daily talk show, A Closer Look. Two years later she joined the successful news magazine show Dateline. In addition to her television career, Daniels is an active supporter of the National Council for Adoption.

Deborah Norville

Deborah Norville is the host of King World's Inside Edition and one of the nation's most respected television journalists. At CBS News, she co-hosted America Tonight, reported for STREET STORIES, contributed reports to 48 Hours, and frequently anchored the Sunday Evening News. She also covered some of the major stories of the mid-1990's, including the OJ Simpson trial and the great floods of 1993. At NBC, she was the co-host and news anchor of Today and the anchor for NBC News at Sunrise. Norville is the recipient of many distinguished awards for broadcast journalism, including a national Emmy Award for her reporting of the democratic uprising in Romania. She was named "TV Anchor for the Year 2000" in 1990 by the readers of the Washington Journalism Review.

Bryant Gumbel

Bryant Gumbel is anchor of NBC News' Today and stands out as one of America's best known and most popular television journalists. One of television's most versatile broadcasters, Gumbel's TV credits span news, sports, and entertainment, from early morning to prime time. He has broadcast Super Bowls, World Series, superpower summits, and political conventions. His reporting has won him the acclaim of his peers, who have bestowed upon him numerous awards for journalistic excellence. The Washington Journalism Review's annual readers poll named Gumbel the "Best Television News Interviewer." He has also received numerous Emmy's, as well as the Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Foreign Affairs Work.
