He is author of I Don't Want To Talk About It: Overcoming the Secret Legacy of Male Depression and is Co-Director of Gender Research Project at The Family Institute of Cambridge. He is currently at work on a new book, True Love: How the Roles of Men and Women Make Intimacy Impossible and What to About It. He is in private practice in Watertown, Massachusetts.

He practices in Providence, Rhode Island, where he is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Brown University. He is the author of Listening to Prozac and Should You Leave?

She is a free-lance journalist and the author of a six books, including Intimate Partners: Patterns in Love and Marriage and Intimate Worlds: Life Inside the Family. She is Writer-in-Residence at Jonathan Edwards College, Yale University and a Senior Fellow at the Bush Center in Child Development and Social Policy at Yale.
