THE WITCH HUNT CONTINUES

"The allegations made by Joe Hendrickson [sic] as irresponsibly reported by TIME magazine are absolutely and totally false.

Joe Hendrickson [sic] is a disgruntled former employee who is considered by many people who know him to be a pathological liar. He has tried to attack the company through the courts and been unsuccessful because his lawsuit has no merit, so he has chosen to try and injure us through Mr. Smaltz and the media.

TIME magazine should be ashamed for having published these lies in the face of eleven other knowledgeable individuals having told them that this was not true, and that Mr. Hendrickson [sic] could not be believed.

We believe that this is irresponsible journalism taken to new heights. Certain people quoted in the article have already volunteered that statements attributed to them in the article are false.

Mr. Smaltz's public comments that one particular version of the several versions of Mr. Hendrickson's [sic] fantasy, "has the ring of truth" is especially frightening, in view of the fact that many people have already discredited his testimony.

Can Mr. Smaltz with any credibility claim to be unbiased? Can Mr. Smaltz with any credibility claim to be fair? Can he claim to be even remotely within his mandate?

In view of Mr. Smaltz's biased and unfair attacks on us in the media, his wholesale search for disgruntled ex-employees, his grandiose plans and empire building, his waste of taxpayer funds by the millions, could the media and the courts be blamed for beginning to wonder about his fitness to be Independent Counsel?

We are currently exploring our options and are considering legal action against a number of individuals and entities involved in spreading these malicious lies."
