Anonymous / September 20, 2009 10:17 AMMr. Duncan: Maybe before we start looking at technology as a way to make things more interesting for students, we should take a look at how we teach: students as passive sponges whose sole purpose is to do well on tests. Maybe we need more authentic learning based on real projects that connect students to today's realities. Walk into almost any classroom today. You'll see kids bored to tears, being prepped for a test. (SAT, AP, ACT, IOWA, Chapter...)
